Last night I watched this week’s Law & Order: SVU. After it was finished, over the Wolf Films logo, Chris Meloni introduced the preview of next week’s episode by saying, “There’s a new SVU next week.” I grinned, as a new SVU means above anything else another chance that Chris Meloni might appear en déshabillé. Then Chris Meloni said, “Wipe that smile off your face.” I clapped my hand over my mouth in shock and did as ordered, though I couldn’t prevent myself from getting a little hard.
Seriously, He has aged quite a bit in the last few years.
I met him once. He has an eccentric fashion sense.
Ian, his fashion sense is irrelevant to me, as when we reach the important part of our interaction he will have discarded his clothing.
Loved his fashion sense in Oz…the shower scenes were a triumph for the costume department.
But while a new SVU may mean another chance to see a little more of the little Meloni, it also counts down the remaining number of SVU encounters you can have with him ahead of his departure.
I’ll place your glass by your elbow, dear Doctor, half empty as per my custom.

Andrew, no less an authority than Us quotes Mr. Meloni as saying, about rumors he’s leaving, “It’s lies. All lies. No.”
Well there you go. The Australian media reported something incorrectly. I’m stunned.
