Oh Faustus! I am shocked, shocked I tell you. Stealing books is very very wrong indeed!!
Mind you I am not immune myself – a biography of the Empress Eugenie from a bar in the Cotswolds that was using books as decoration merely. On reflection I should have nicked the lot.
Tsk. Now I have to go and find a copy to discover just how fucked up it is.

matt: No need. I’ve scanned the whole thing and will be posting it as jpgs before too long.
You’d be welcome. It was very dull. Kept trying to give her a political role when, as we know, with her it was all Worth, Wintherhalter and, and …can’t think of a jeweller that begins with a W, but you get my drift.
That really must fall in the “I couldn’t make this sh*t up” category.
But it’s a book for kids! :O How fucked up could it be?
Oddly, the only thing I can take away from this given my zero life intersection with Ionesco is how incredibly, oddly cool I find the name Etienne to be.
