In honor of autumn, I have dumped one man (E.S.) and been dumped by another (T.H.).
I feel horrible.
I always knew that my life would one day turn into a Dorothy Parker poem (in this case “A Very Short Song”):
Once, when I was young and true,
Someone left me sad
Broke my brittle heart in two;
And that is very bad.
Love is for unlucky folk,
Love is but a curse.
Once there was a heart I broke;
And that, I think, is worse.
OK… while I weep over the failed relationships of Faustus. I rejoice that the sting was great enough to bring about your return to the blogiverse. When I found you this summer I read your whole blog (archives and all) in one sitting. welcome back, and this time… do stay a while.
The heart you broke was mine, when you quit writing for me.
I’m so sorry about the dump/dumping. That reminds me of last New Year’s Eve, when I was dumped by three, count them, three men. Life is incredible.
Geez, Doctor. I’m so sorry that it took bad relationship turns to get you back here. While I do love your writing, I would rather never hear from you again in hopes that you were enjoying a happy ending. In lieu of that, I will now visit regularly and mutually commiserate about our crappy love / sex lives.
Would another porn shoot be therapeutic at this difficult time? Then you could tell us all about it, only this time in a little more detail, please. We’re here to listen.
Welcome back. 🙂
welcome back, but search no further…the love you seek is closer than you think.
It’s nice to see you back. Hope life is treating you well otherwise.
Oh, I missed you. Welcome back. I’ll be your new boyfriend.
So cool to have you back up and running. Yay!!!!!!!! All is again right with the world.
