    Did your parents play along with this at all? Did they use that name at home until you lost interest, or did they just say no?

    Six is the age for changing one’s name. My daughter became “Josh,” the name of our 11-year-old lawn boy, for about three months. My son changed his name every week for a couple of months. He tired of it when he couldn’t remember the name he’d chosen most recently.

    I love your name: colorful and omnipotent. You musta been some kid.
