I just watched Never Been Kissed, the movie in which Drew Barrymore plays a journalist who goes back to high school undercover to report on Today’s Teens.

Here is a shot from a scene in which the math club is having a bake sale.

    It’s true that the (partial) number shown for pi is wrong, but then the pi symbol looks wrong, too.

    Or is it the pleated trousers that worry you?

    Clearly, that’s the number and symbol for ‘tri’, a completely different thing than ‘pi’.

    I suspect that one of the producers or production assistants once dated you and worked the errors in for the sole purpose of revenge.

    A similar phenomenon explains much of the Bush administration. You mistreat a guy and the whole world suffers. At least when I masturbate, God only kills a kitten.
