No fucking way:

“Chanukah was historically and remains a celebration of the victory over Hellenistic Jewish social liberals and the homosexual agenda. . . . It was when the allies of the Syrian-Greeks, upper class socially liberal Jews, known as Hellenists, embraced the attempted abolition of ritual circumcision, Sabbath, and the Holidays and encouraged young Jews to cavort nude in the gymnasiums they built (Gymnos, the Greek word for nude) that the loyal religious Jews defied their “enlightened”, “progressive”, “socially liberal” (read libertine) reprobate brethren and sacrificed their lives to prevent the “Hell”enization of Jewish Holiness. Anyone who is familiar with ancient Greek culture knows about the centrality of homosexuality in their daily lives. It is obvious that what followed the nudity in the gymnasium and the emphasis on the body, was rampant institutionalized homosexuality. . . . The faithful Jews, willingly martyred themselves to defeat the debauchery of that time both heterosexual and homosexual. Thus Chanukah represents the first ever defeat of a world power’s homosexual agenda!

Oh, wait. This is the rabbi who said that gay marriage in Israel was worse than the Holocaust.

I guess yes fucking way.

As a lifelong goy, I haven’t paid much attention to (C)hanukah. Whenever I look at a fully loaded menorah, I think of nine proud phalluses, so I had assumed that the holiday was a celebration of the fact that, especially in older times, there was only one good way to occupy your time during the winter. I have to say that this latest interpretation is a bit of a let down.

I fear that next you’ll be telling me that “minyan” doesn’t mean orgy. I’m not sure I can handle that much disappointment in one day.

Oh, please… This guy’s so full of hate, there’s gotta be a Freudian attraction there, somewhere. All we need is an agent to catch him when he’s REALLY guilty for something, and then strike while the water’s still hot in the Mikveh. Easier than tapping your foot in an airport restroom stall, or plying a homeless guy with drugs! And, really, he should be headed in for purification after talking so much trash about other Jewish folks… Lashon Hora, indeed. (I’m also a Goy, for the record.)

I love me some rampant institutionalized homosexuality.

    Nes gadol haya sham!*

This guy is sick and twisted.

I got as far as thinking about hot naked Jewish men in a gymnasium and then…I’m sorry, what were we talking about? Hey, I’m sorry, I moved to an Oregon suburb called Raleigh Hills. There isn’t a Jew for miles. I’m starving, here. I think if I saw some rugelach I might plotz.

You know, if us gays have had an agenda for over 2000 years, one would think we would have created a lot more fabulousness by now, or at least would have irradicated republicans.

Isn’t the good rabbi’s etymology a bit off kilter anyway. I thought gymnasium derived from the verb meaning ‘to exercise’ and itwas only cognate(?) with the word for ‘naked’ Still what has accuracy to do with anything when indulging in a bout of demonization?

  8. David says:

Any bets he is an accomplished toe-tapper in the synagogue bathrooms?

  9. bob says:

Wow, that’s good crazy. Kinda makes you wonder what his take is on Purim.

  10. I agree with the good rabbi that Channuka is not a Jewish celebration of the winter’s solstice. That’s it. The rest of his post is pure bat-shit. I wonder if he knows the Nazi Pope, Benedict, who recently said that same-sex marriage was a threat to world peace. That and abortion and birth control. I think I’ll run along now and earn myself a couple of new toaster ovens.
