In my first quilting class, a couple weeks ago, we learned how to make quilt blocks. So I did:

In my second quilting class, tonight, we learned about low contrast vs. high contrast.
Back to the drawing board.

I am a quilter myself, and I have to say, that looks great! And about the contrast thing, all quilters know there are no rules in quilting.

I like the color combination (though I'm not sure about the fabric with the vaguely pig-like animal representation, but I'm fond of pigs more in theory than in fact). The colors, those are gorgeous.
