If you live in New York or are going to be here next week, you should attend this event.

There will be many fine bloggers giving readings, including yours truly.
Well, I won't actually be giving a reading. It's one thing for me to write pithy little blog posts about my escapades and misadventures, but 5-10 minutes (the suggested length of time each blogger's material should take) is a lot of pith.
So I'm writing a song, which I will perform.
Wish me luck.

Wishing I could write "Break a leg" in Middle Egyptian hieroglyphs.
Alas.

Can you record your song for posterity and post it as an MP3?

Annie and Kathryn, thank you. Matt, I'll see what I can do.

Wow, I wish I could be there. Have fun. It would be cool if you could read all your Haiku poetry, but I guess five minutes of haiku is a little much.

I keep picturing you getting up there and doing a soft shoe, as well.

Dagnabit. Jeff and I won't be arriving in NY until two days later.
