I am putting my blog on hold indefinitely.

There are many reasons for this, including the fact that the voices have told me to, but the main one is that it’s taking energy away from my actual writing, which is, after all, what I’m supposed to be paying attention to.

I’m sorry to have such unamusing news for those of you who have been so supportive of my efforts. If you want me to alert you if I start blogging again, send me an e-mail saying so.

Talk about ending not with a bang but with a whimper.

Jesus Christ! Why don’t you just kill us already?!

I miss you now, I have so many questions about love and about pain about strange relationships about fame as only you could explain it to me! (Thank god for Stevie – only she understands!)

My mornings will never be the same!

It’s really sad to see you go. I used to check your weblog incessantly for updates and now I’ll have no other vicarious sex through you.

I’m so disappointed. Does this mean I have to end my vow of celibacy and abstinence? I was doing so well with just your entries. 🙁 Good luck with focusing on your writing. Whatever happens, continue to live your life to the fullest and best.

I share everyone’s feelings. Anyone who can weave amateur porn, punctuation usage, and crochet is needed now more than ever in these dark days.

What are we to do each time we look within us and don’t know what we see and clearly need your help? Is this one of thsoe bad joke I’m-taking-the-month-of-August off?

I have some nice thoughts about you in my blog, “The Other Side”–see nycbloggers.com at 103 station.

There’s no reason to stop when you seem to have a huge (and deserved) fanbase…
OK, there may be some, but please, don’t stop like that forever and ever!

We’ll understand if you have a pause of a few days or a couple of weeks (gasp!) between each post, but please, don’t give up!

    Ppp-please?

Faustus, I’ll miss you, too, but I do waste a lot of time checking in on what’s going on with you when I should be doing other things (like working, sleeping, reading, writing, etc.). I also don’t think it’s so great that my vicarious sex life through your blog is so much more compelling than my actual, if fictional, one. Now I guess I’ll just have to imagine it without your help. But you did leave us hanging with that porn shoot.

I still think you’re swell. Thanks for writing.

The patient suffered an episode of depersonalization on Saturday for about six hours at which time he felt that he wasn’t a real person, nothing but skin.

As you can see, we are all hungry.
