I just found out that the gang that hangs out at the bodega on the corner across the street and the gang that hangs out at the bodega two blocks north aren’t just your run-of-the-mill everyday gangs.
They’re the Crips and the Bloods.
Nobody’s been shot in my neighborhood for several weeks, but next time it happens at least I’ll know that the victim was killed by the cream of the crop.
That is terrifying. Please don’t die — the humor level in my life would be slightly reduced.
I have confidence that you will escape detection as the perpetrator; and if not, you would easily be able to convince the jury that it was a justifiable homicide for grammatical reasons.
This is a very old fogy thing to say (forgive me, I turned 60 this weekend) but ever since you guys moved I had been concerned about violence in your neighborhood. Be safe.
Faustus,
I have a request. Could you please explain when one ought to use ‘that’ and when ‘which’? I could look it up but I don’t want to.
