Oh, Faustus, I wish I received premium channels! I LOVE vampires. Oh, I’m so sad now.

huh. i’m not sure how i feel about queers being compared to vampires (“you people” “special rights” yes ha ha we get the joke). actually i am sure. i don’t like it. vampires are clearly harmful in the world of this tv show – an age-old soul-destroying force barely kept in check. this just seems too close to the Anita Bryant mentality that queer people (especially gay men) are just pedophiles trying to get society’s stamp of approval while secretly continuing their child-raping rampages. ugh. ick. yuck.

on the other hand, vampire bar… totally hot.

Is it a movie? Is it a show? I’m all excited? Are vampires real?

I wonder if it’s meant to be ironic that the first 30 seconds of this preview use music from the movie “Atonement.”

I KNOW! I’m SO upset with HBO for sucking me back in. I haven’t paid for that shit in years!

It’s still not as exciting as the High School Musical 3 trailer though.

“From the creators of ‘Six Feet Under’ a new series entitled ‘Six Feet Under But Only In The Daytime'”

    Well, I think I’m funny.

I’ve been seeing pseudo poster ads for this for months and wondering what the hell it was. I hadn’t seen any actual promos because I also don’t get premium cable. Don’t plan on getting it either. I’ve missed so much, I can miss a bit more.

I was thinking the same thing as birdfarm, actually.
And a friend who has seen screeners says it’s not as good as one would hope….
