The play I am in opens on Saturday afternoon.
I was going to write a post suggesting that if you lived in the New York metropolitan area and wanted to see a fun show in which I make out bare-chested with another boy you should come to the Players Theater on 115 MacDougal Street (just south of West 3rd Street) at one of the following times:
Saturday, 8/11: 2:30 p.m.
Tuesday, 8/14: 5:45 p.m.
Tuesday, 8/21: 9:15 p.m.
Wednesday, 8/22: 5:15 p.m.
Thursday, 8/23: 3:00 p.m.
and that you could buy tickets here.
However, I seem unaccountably to have gained fifty pounds since Thursday, so I have to write about something else instead.
I’ll let you know when I think of a topic.
In the meantime, my plan is to eat nothing between now and Saturday. My original plan was to eat nothing between last night and Saturday, but then I saw some M&Ms.
You could go beyond just the bare chest and include showing your willy. That’s sure to distract folks from the extra pounds!
And don’t let anyone catch one of you sneaky Petes using your cellphone to grab pictures of Faustus in his semi-nude kissing scene. Because that would be terribly, terribly wrong. I’m not winking here, I have something in my eye… .
I am trying to lose some weight, too, but fortunately I remembered (thanks to Romy & Michele) that Gummi Bears are fat-free, so I ate a bag of them this afternoon to keep myself from weeping at my temp job from boredom and frustration. So, try that next time instead of M&M’s. I hear Candy Corn also works, but I’m not sure of its availability in August.
I was taking an acting class at the Player’s Theater. It wasn’t what I expected. I suppose I could stop by for the show. (Does that require purchasing a ticket?) Kidding.
I’m a standup comedienne, and any stagetime at all helps with the craft.
Nice coming across your blog!
Well, if you’ve gained fifty pounds, you could always… no, I guess there’s nothing to be done. But break a leg, hon.
Your faux self-deprecation offends me. I will attend a performance just so I can tell you this in person. The 11th or the 21st. Not sure which yet.
Hope your last couple shows go well. I love performing at the Fringe (of course, I perform at the one in Orlando).
I haven’t had a shirtless same-sex make-out scene though.
I gotta get a new agent! 😉
