Tonight I almost told E.S. that I loved him.

Then I didn’t.

Despite the $24 thesaurus sitting on my desk, I believe that the only proper response to such a statement is

    “AAAHHHH!!!1!1 OMG OMG!!!1!!1!!”

Pew – why didn’t my mother marry my father?

She never had time. He came and went.
Why didn’t Babel Dark marry Molly?
He doubted her. You must never doubt the one you love.

But they might not be telling the truth.
Never mind that. You tell them the truth.
    What do you mean?
You can’t be another person’s honesty, child, but you can be your own.
    So what should I say?
    When?
    When I love someone?
    You should say it.

I’ve always waited for the other guy to start saying it. I’m in my fifth relationship, and have never been the first to blink.

Good thing I’ve never dated someone exactly like me.

Just WHAT is the problem in saying something if you feel it ????

    Can anyone explain this ?

    Hiya Faustus.

My blog is almost a year old and was initiated* by the news that the curse of cancer had been laid on a very good friend.

No-one knows for sure what tomorrow may bring, so do what you can today.

*That and the honour and pleasure of guest-blogging with you on Troubled Diva’s site.

ummm, doesn’t E.S. read the blog? So aren’t you in effect telling him that you love him already by saying how you’re afraid to say it but want to?

My dear, sweet, neurotic friend, I’m sure you realize he knows this already — and feels exactly the same way.

    brechi,

Faustus should tell tim that he loves him. It’s the least he could do after all the help I have given him lately. Right, Faustus? 🙂

Someone’s got to do it first. It’s either you or E.S. You owe it to yourself. You owe it to the fact that you feel it. You owe it to him as well.

By the way, I’ve been following your blog and you are hilarious! keep it up.

    It’s friday…either Faustus told E.S. and enjoying the results…
    or…
died from suffocation whilst stammering the words…

The first time I said it, I didn’t even know I was going to say it until after I’d said it. It just popped out of my mouth – late at night, lights out, about to go to sleep – and I think it took both of us slightly by surprise. Which was nice.

For the love of God, HOW long have you guys been seeing each other?

    Say the f*cking words!

Do you not love him anymore? Because I assume you still do, in which case “I almost told ES that I love him” is a little more appropriate.

I guess true love messes with the grammar of even the best.

And this brings me up to date. I have, over the last couple of weeks, read your entire blog and now feel I’m entitled to something. As I’m both heterosexual and female, I assume sex is out. Any ideas?

And, for God’s sake, tell him already.
