Today (well, technically yesterday by now) I went back on medication.

The first interesting result is that I am, for the first time in months, awake past the hour of 1:00.

Let’s just hope it doesn’t turn into 2:00 or 3:00. Because I’ve really had quite enough of the demons that have been chasing each other around in my head for the last hour, since the third straight episode of Law & Order finished and there was no longer anything on television with which to blunt their cruel efficacy.

Oh, wait, I just yawned. Maybe there’s hope yet.

Ah, yes. The world of medication can be quite the frustrating one. I just changed mine aorund; I’m awake now after four hours and can’t get back to sleep. For me, the first couple of weeks are usually great and then the demons start exposing themselves; hopefully then this was just a fluke for you. Keep in mind some take a while for your body to get used to.

Getting used to the medication is one thing, but the side effects are a whole different story. Take the necessary time, listen to your body, and use the insomnia to write your next masterpiece!

Maybe you could consult with Phoebe, Piper or Paige. They are pretty good at chasing demons away.
Hope you got a good nights sleep!

On a much more shallow note, I submit that a full Tivo recording schedule can insure there is buffer of TV available regardless of the time.

Which are you taking? I’ve had to take mine mornings or else I never sleep.
