This is the front:
Note the two gingerbread homosexuals with their gingerbread puppy. Note also the pink triangles.
This is the back:
Note again the pink triangle and the heart, which, while not strictly speaking homosexual, still represents a certain fey element.
This is the side:
E.S. tried to talk me out of the open Andes mint shutters because he thought they would fall off. Note the still-attached open Andes mint shutters.
I love being right.
Well I have to admit that I have to take his side and say that if I were him I would also think they would fall off.
I have NO idea why I am making this comment.

And while I didn’t comment earlier on the birthday dinner post, I can’t resist doing so now: I was one of the two “young ladies” who Faustus neglected to mention (what are we, chopped liver?!), but I guess at a birthday dinner which consists of a large number of gay men and then two lesbians, the lesbians aren’t going to make much of an impact. Kind of like on Queer as Folk….

Such a cute gay gingerbread house. My mome gave me a hand painted Christmas decoration featuring what looks like two male snowmen hugging with the phrase “It’s time for burrr hugs” on it. My sister and her BF got a kick out of it as they immediately associated the “burrr hug” part with the bear culture in the gay community. It hangs proudly in my kitchen and I chuckle everytime I look at it as I am sure my mom did not intend for there to be the slightest gayness to it.
